Richmond, VA – May 11, 2011 – Timmons Group, an ENR 500 Design Firm and a leader in civil engineering and professional consulting services, is pleased to announce that Chris Dodson has been named as Director of Field Operations and will oversee the firm’s Field Operations Division.
Chris Dodson, PWS, has nearly 15 years of experience and previously oversaw Timmons Group’s Environmental Services Group. His academic degrees of a Masters in Environmental Science and a Juris Doctor of Law, combined with his professional experience, afford him a unique skill set that has permitted him to keep up with the ever-changing regulatory environment and to successfully grow the firm’s environmental practice. His demonstration of operational efficiency and ability to successfully grow a practice in this economic environment encouraged the firm to further tap his skills in a broader spectrum.

In Dodson’s new role, he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s Construction Services and Survey Practices, as well as continuing to manage the Environmental Services Group. He will be exploring ways to cross train field personnel in these areas in order to increase efficiency, utilization and enhance client service.
